Assessment partners Makeup idea Experimentation

This look was to do with the Golden age, so wealth, and elegant and it shows it with the gold and the shimmery eye shadow colours.
Today we experimented with our idea on each other, by applying it. First what i used here was Illamasqua Skin base, which is white when applied, then what i did was use a shimmery brown eye shadow from Elf that i buffed on top of it, then blended it, so it was a bronzed and shimmery skin texture.

What i noticed when i applied, it went on patchy and even when blended in, it started to look to brown in places.

Next i used a slightly different eye shadow shade from Elf for the eyes, and this side was my first go at it, so it was quite messy and didn't look as elegant. So i learnt from that to do the next side.
What i need to do is learn how to block out eyebrows, as i need to do it for my look and for my partners, which will make it look different and products would easier to see, and also makes it more Elizabethan, which i do want to incorporate into it.

This was the other side of the face i did, which was a lot more elegant and what she wanted to achieve with this look. I think i would do it again, as i have learnt along the way to do things properly and what to do, so that has helped, with what to do next time.

The next was Illamasqua Liquid Metal Palette in Gold, which is a great product to use and easy to apply for any look. It was for the cheeks, i used my fingers to circle it around the cheeks, like blush. You cant really see it on this photograph, or in real life, because as you blend it, it goes with the product underneath, so it starts to look dull and slightly dirty looking.

Overall i do like this look, and as for my first time, trying the makeup properly on a full face, was good, as i learnt more things to know and what to do the next time, and even for my design. I would like to do it again, so that i could get the hang of it, more than i what i did when i started. To me it does remind me of Elizabethan, with the gold colours added to it, but modern, with the colour of the skin and the feathery texture of the eye shadow on the eyes.
